Kids, by nature, are curious and jumpy most of the time. So, a puppet show takes care of both these attributes. Puppets are effective means of grabbing the kids' attention. They can learn important life lessons while being entertained and away from screen too.
There is a silver lining in this pandemic. The close family ties, the long pending video calls with college friends, the honing of our long lost passionAll amounts to the hope people have. One of the most happy event which reignites this hope is a birthday.
Toddlers always go ga-ga over animals. My 2 year old makes such a cute wolf howl.. aaaooowww.. So it wont be a waste to organise a jungle safari themed birthday.
I woke up earlier than usual so that I can finish off the sweeping and cleaning of the rooms and can blow up the balloons before she wakes up. I put up the rajma to boil, dusted, swept and also finished mopping the living room. Then, suddenly out of the blue I saw a small brown ball rolling and going under the sofa. Initially I thought it was a TT ball that Kabir plays with. But the colour was different. I usually do not move the heavy furniture to clean, but then, today I had to. Again I saw the ball rolling with the speed of a bullet and going under another sofa. That's it. It was a little mouse. Very good. I had just finished cleaning.
My daughter (2) and niece (3) are just mad over Peppa pig. My daughter makes snorting noises whenever she wakes up. “Good morning.. (snort)”. When she is watching peppa pig, she makes grunting noises when peppa introduces her family members. So, I am thinking why not plan a Peppa Pig themed birthday party for her, this year. This kids’ show focuses on fun and curiosity. So these will be the main elements of our party too.
An abra ca dabra birthday. I have gone to tons of birthday parties where a frail looking man with a black top hat and a wand, shows some overly repetitive magic tricks. Although the younger kids seem to say ooh and aah over it, the older guys just roll their eyes as if they just know how the trick is done.
If you are one of those moms who wont mind spending a few bucks but want a unique experience for your guests and your kid then do look into this option. This is basically a party in bus. It is meant for smaller age group only because the bus is filled with entertainment like ball pool, slide, wobnly mirrors, soft obstacle course, rollers, small zipline, squeeze etc.
So.. you have decided not to throw a party this time. And your kid is also on board with this.. kudos. But this doesn't mean that you can't make the day special for him/her.
